KYOS and Thomson Reuters Point Carbon present a 2 day course on gas markets, with an emphasis on the NBP and TTF markets. The first day will be hosted by Thomson Reuters PointCarbon, with a focus on market fundamentals. The second day is hosted by KYOS, with a focus on valuation and hedging aspects of gas storages and swing contracts. You benefit most from the course if you attend both days, although it is possible to register for one day only.

Course combines market knowledge with valuation techniques

The course combines the unique expertise of both Thomson Reuters Point Carbon and KYOS. As leading provider of news and analysis, Thomson Reuters Point Carbon will elaborate on gas markets. The focus will be on the European gas markets NBP en TTF. On the other hand, KYOS has advanced knowledge of state-of-the-art valuation techniques. Both KYOS and Thomson Reuters Point Carbon would like to share their knowledge with you.

In the course, you will learn about global trends, market fundamentals and relationships of gas markets with other commodities as coal, power and carbon. Furthermore, the course highlights what valuation techniques are applicable for gas storages, and how trading and hedging strategies impact this calculation.
