Job Description Quality Assurance Engineer
As our Quality Assurance Engineer (junior / medior level), you will be testing the new functionality and assuring the quality of our platform. Are you that eagle-eyed person that can spot the cracks in our code and make sure these are fixed? Please note that we do not offer Visa sponsorship for this role.
We would like to expand the team of testers. Our current senior Quality Assurance Engineer will show you the ropes. Currently, there are two development teams in the company: PHP and Matlab. To achieve the highest standards of quality, you will have to communicate closely with both teams on a daily basis. Within the team, you will be responsible for the quality of your own assigned projects besides constantly improving our QA process.

What you’ll be doing
- Performing functional and regression testing
- Planning, creating, running test cases
- Ensure reported bugs are fixed, it is your task to follow up with the developers and have them do the corrections timely
- Carrying out regular maintenance and enhancement of the existing test base
- Participating in 3 amigos meetings and define requirements together with the PHP and Quant teams
- Controlling the feature delivery process
Must have qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related area like computer sciences
- Experience in similar role, depending on level but roughly 0-2 for junior, 3-5 for medior
- Hands-on experience with black-box, exploratory, regression testing
- Practical experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of software development process
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- But above all, you must have attention to detail and be persistent to get things solved
Will be a plus
- Proven experience with test management tools such as TestRail
- Strong knowledge and experience with test tools like Postman, Swagger
- Experience in API testing
- Experience in web automation testing (a big plus)
