GTreasury and KYOS announce partnership

GTreasury, a treasury management platform provider, and KYOS, announced today their partnership to offer KYOS’ advanced commodity risk management solution as an addition to GTreasury’s platform.

The KYOS Analytical Platform has been purposely developed to manage market price risks in a wide variety of commodity markets. It is in use by dozens of clients in power, gas and many other commodity markets. Among its clients are utilities, manufacturing- and food processing companies, agri- metal- and energy traders, energy suppliers, waste management companies, gas storage operators as well as consulting and brokerage firms. The user-friendly software aggregates information from physical flows, financial derivatives and market prices. Information is stored, processed, and translated into relevant and clear risk metrics. It captures standard products, such as forwards, futures and swaps, up to the most exotic products, such as options, generation assets, processing plants, PPA contracts and accumulators. Multiple standardized reports provide insight to users across the organization, and support critical decision making.

With this combination of treasury management functionality and commodity risk solution, GTreasury’s clients can manage their business much more effectively and reduce their financial exposure.

“KYOS has earned an exceptional reputation empowering its worldwide customer base with the analytics and insights required to drive informed business decisions,” said Terry Beadle, Global Head of Corporate Development at GTreasury. “By pairing KYOS’ technology with the GTreasury platform, organizations have a comprehensive, seamless, and powerful solution that brings commodity risk management into their treasury processes. As we continue to expand our platform to build and integrate the capabilities that organizations require for modern financial and treasury operations, KYOS is a natural fit. We are excited by what this brings to our new and existing shared customers, and look forward to working together.”

“We are very pleased to have found in GTreasury a great partner with an excellent treasury management system. We believe that with the integration of our software, it will allow companies to take their risk management strategy to a higher level. It will strengthen the bond between treasury, procurement and finance to make commodity risk management much more manageable,” says Richard Cornielje, director at KYOS.

“In the months preceding the partnership we have been impressed by the solid experience, global presence and strong organization of GTreasury. Together we can offer our clients a very complete solution and excellent worldwide support. We really look forward to expanding our business together,” says Cyriel de Jong, founder and CEO at KYOS.
